During this episode of Arab Voices, we will have 4 segments:

1) Electronic Intifada Newscast - A summary of the latest developments in occupied Palestine including the Israeli genocide and catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing Israeli atrocities in the West Bank, presented by Nora Barrows-Friedman, associate editor at the Electronic Intifada.

2) Francesca Albanese on Israel's Systematic Torture of Palestinians - UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, Francesca Albanese briefed the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva on March 23, 2026, on the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, addressing Israel's systematic torture of Palestinians, sharing graphic survivor testimonies of beatings, starvation, sexual violence, rape, and other acts, in a new report that examines the systematic use by Israel of torture against Palestinians.

3) Craig Mokhiber on International law and the legal dimensions of the Israeli-US War on Iran - Jadaliyya, an independent ezine produced by the Arab Studies Institute, which provides a unique source of insight and critical analysis that combines local knowledge, scholarship, and advocacy with an eye to audiences in the United States, the Middle East, and beyond, hosted an online event on March 7, 2026, titled "U.S. and Israel's Unprovoked War of Aggression on Iran". During that event, several speakers and hosts addressed the context of the U.S. and Israel's Unprovoked War of Aggression on Iran, including broader military dynamics, the domestic situation in Iran, the il/legality of the war, and the various geopolitical dimensions. The panel also addresses Israel’s expansion into South Lebanon in the context of Israel’s escalating war. During this episode of Arab Voices, we will air the remarks from that event by Craig Mokhiber, an international human rights lawyer and former senior United Nations Official, addressing International law and the legal dimensions of the Israeli-US War on Iran.

4) Maya Mikdashi on the context leading up to the escalation of the Israeli war on Lebanon – During the same Jadaliyya event listed above, Maya Mikdashi, an Associate Professor in the Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Rutgers University, laid out the context leading up to the escalation of the Israeli war on Lebanon.
